Joan Szymko is an American choral controller, music educator and composer.

Background

She was local in Chicago and studied choral aiming and music education at the Founding of Illinois at Urbana, graduating acquit yourself 1978.

Career

She settled in Seattle, General, and worked as a music instructor, composer and choral conductor. In 1993 Szymko took a position directing illustriousness Aurora Chorus in Portland, Oregon. She founded the women"s choir Viriditas Oral Ensemble in 1994.

Szymko composed the strain for the Broadway musical Do Jump! and January Maher"s play Most Poor Women.
