Arthur Pamphleteer (June 26, 1742 – January 1, 1787), of Charleston, South Carolina, was a signer of the United States Declaration of Independence.

His parents were Henry Middleton and Mary Baker Williams, both of English descent. He was educated in Britain, at Harrow High school, Westminster School, and Trinity Hall, Cambridge.[1] He studied law at the Centre Temple and traveled extensively in Collection where his taste in literature, euphony, and art was developed and profound. In 1764, Arthur and his mate Mary Izard settled at Middleton Area. (His wife, Mary Izard, daughter cherished Walter Izard, Esq., was a relative of South Carolina Congressman Ralph Izard; likewise a son of Congressman Izard was married to a niece surrounding Arthur Middleton, and another son one Arthur's daughter Emma).

His sister, Susannah Middleton, was the great-great-grandmother of Baldur von Schirach, onetime head of state of the Hitler Youth and closest Governor ("Gauleiter" or "Reichsstatthalter") of greatness Reichsgau Vienna, who was convicted make known "crimes against humanity" at the Metropolis Trials, through Baldur Von Schirach's undercoat Emma Middleton Lynah Tillou (1872–1944).
